Over on our YOUTUBE CHANNEL I've been adding some fan videos to our favorites section. Check out some of the highlights below. If you know of any other good ones or have made something yourself let us know.

1. The original and the best... the all time greatest hadouken youtube moment - Jason busts some bad ass moves to the Hadouken remix of Plan B's No More Eatin. This kid will go far.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhAhMeEN8LM

2. This little montage of the beautiful relationship that exists between the two members of our rhythm section brought a tear to my eye. (requires sound for full tear jerking effect).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awgr292cd-Y

3. Hadouken 90210 - Images of hadouken set to the Beverly Hills 90210 theme. Only in the bizarre world of youtube could this idea have been born.

4. That Boy That Girl - EMX 1 Cover

p.s. if you're thinking of adding to this motley collection we're particularly keen to see any weird and wonderful cover versions, first string quartet to play Declaration win my eternal gratitude and respect and some cast off piece of hadouken paraphernalia that I'll be needing to get rid of soon on account of me moving house.

USA! USA! USA!

YO

some exciting news... the album will finally get a release in the United States of America on the 20th October.

We know there's a lot of you out there who've been supporting hadouken and waiting for the album for a long time, thanks for your patience, we appreciate it. We'll be asking you lot to help us spread the word about the release across that massive country of yours. Tell your mates, write a blog, set our tracks as your profile song, tattoo the release date on your partner's face while they sleep... anything is a big help and much appreciated.

Hopefully all this well mean that before too long we get to come out and do some shows too - we'll let you know as soon as we do. There will also be a new US exclusive merch site so that you no longer have to pay for shipping from UK.

We're massively excited about this, so here's a visual celebration of some of our favorite american exports:

Hadouken! (more info)
  • Label: Atlantic
  • Label Type: major
  • About:
    Music for an Accelerated Culture:

'The Prodigy’s energy, Dizzee’s vocal delivery and Bloc Party’s indie-dance” Mixmag

'Declaration Of War' is one of the points on the album where you really get a sense of Hadouken! taking convincing steps towards becoming the definitive 21st century pop group without sacrificing any of their character or credibility' PopJustice

'Hadouken!, for my money represent the sound of a bright young Britain, and as such are exactly the type of band that heavyweight critics will adore, once they’ve had a chance to catch up with what’s really going on in the music scence.' Subba Cultcha

'Music for an Accelerated Culture' couldn't be more zeitgeisty if it tried. The existential elegance of "Declaration of War" and the Bowie-via-Kasabian stomp of "Mister Misfortune" show an unexpected versatility, and "Driving Nowhere" is oddly romantic, and dare I say, even new romantic. The Independent

'It’s like listening to The Prodigy trapped in a Nintendo game and trying to get out by reworking The Streets’ songs.' New-Noise

    The album is out now...
  • Members:
    James Smith - Vocals
    Alice Spooner - Keyboard
    Pilau Rice - Guitar
    Chris Purcell - Bass
    Nick Rice - Drums
